There are instances where a grower has a Farm or Field that is no longer being farmed and they want it removed from their Farm Field Tree list, but don't want to delete the Field due to historical records being attached. With the Archiving feature, users can "hide" a Farm or Field from their Farm Field Tree list. The Farm or Field will no longer be active but will retain all previous records.
How can I Archive a Farm or Field?

• Archiving a Field
Archiving a Farm
To Archive a Farm, navigate to the 1) Properties menu, 2) Select the Farm needing to be archived in the Farm Field Tree list, then 3) Click on the Pencil icon.
Within the Edit Farm menu, click Archive.
To delete the Farm, instead of Archiving it, click the drop-down arrow next to the Archive button, then select Delete Farm. This action will permanently remove the Farm from the organization and cannot be recovered.
After clicking Archive, a pop-up will appear that says the Farm will be archived along with all associated Fields and Crop Zones, and that the Farm can be unarchived at any time. To continue, click Archive farm.
Once the Farm has been archived you will receive a confirmation message, and it will no longer be visible in the Farm Field Tree list.
To see the archived Farm in the Farm Field Tree list, click on the Farm Field Tree filter icon.
Within the Filter menu, 1) open the Archived sub-menu. 2) Click on the toggle-switch to turn on visibility of archived properties. 3) Save the change by clicking Apply.
Once this filter has been enabled, the archived Farm will be visible in the Farm Field Tree, but it will be grayed out and labeled as archived.
Note: This filter can be toggled on and off to hide the archived Farms and Fields from the Farm Field Tree or to make them visible at the user's discretion.
