Creating Work Orders in Cropwise Finanicals is a great way to track work that needs to be done. Work Orders can be used to track the products, rates, applicator, timing, area, method, and target pest, for a future application or service that will be applied to a crop.
To get started with Work Orders, navigate to the Production block within the Cropwise Financial iOS app, then select the block. Next select the Work Orders icon. From here you can view existing work order records. Use the ... Options button to Edit, Duplicate, Create a PDF, Create Application, or Delete the record. To create a new work order record, select the + New Work Order button. Then navigate through the three tabs.
1. Work Order Details
When creating a Work Order, most of the data points are prepopulated, but can be adjusted.
- Work Order ID is preset with the users initials followed by the date-time stamp.
- Start time default to the current date at 8 AM as the time.
- Work Type is auto set to General.
- Authorized Date is also set to the current date.
Timing Event, Authorized by, Application Method, Applicator, Equipment and Tags are all optional fields to complete.
2. Field Selection
To add fields to the Work Order, first click the Green Plus Sign. From here, there are two ways to select the Fields/ Crop Zones.
- The first option is to search or select the Field(s) / Crop Zone(s) in the list on the Farm tab.
- The second option is to select the field(s) on the Map tab. Click the shapes on the map to add them to the work order.
After choosing the fields, they can be viewed under the Selected tab. Next, select the Save button to move on to the Products tab.
3. Product Selection
To add products to the work order, start by clicking the + Select Products button. Then, click in the search box to start typing the product name. After typing at least three characters, it will begin searching. Select the product on the right and enter the Product Quantity. Add any other details you wish to include for the product. Continue adding products by searching for the next product to add, or select the Save button at the top. Review the product information before selecting the Save button at the bottom.
Once the work order is saved it may take a few seconds to sync and be displayed at the top of the list as Pending before it changes to green and moves to Created.
