In Cropwise Protector web, you can set up automated reporting so that scouting results are sent via text (SMS) to specific recipients you choose. The subscription must be configured before any scouting events take place for them to be included within the days SMS Report. Recipients do not have to be apart of the Members list for the Cropwise Organization.
To create and manage SMS Report subscriptions, navigate to https://protector.cropwise.com. Select your Workspace and Organization that you would like to Manage Subscriptions for.
In the top right corner, select on the Reports icon within the header bar.
Then select, Manage Subscriptions.
Choose, Add Subscription.
Select the report type, Online Summary.
Choose to add a subscriber from the organization Members List or from the Contact List. Members List allows you to choose anyone who currently has permissions to the organization. Contact List allows you to fill in the information for anyone outside of the organization.
From the members list, select a subscriber from the drop down and then enter the phone number desired to send SMS Reports to. Then choose Next.
By default, the preferences are set for the subscriber to receive reports about all farms they have access to, with monitoring results sending as soon as they are available, and the subscription is set to indefinite. If the subscriber only needs certain farms, toggle off the first setting and choose which farms they should only receive reports for.
Proceed to create the subscription by clicking Save.
Now that the subscription is created, you will see the subscriber appear within the Subscribers tab of the Manage Subscriptions page.
Note: for the subscriber to begin receiving reports, they must reply to the initial text sent from Cropwise Protector agreeing to opt into receiving SMS to their phone number. (See example of opt in text below)
