Specific Scouting Points in Field
Timeline View Overview
Once scouting data has been entered and synced on the Cropwise Protector Scouting app, the data will be visible within the Cropwise protector Web Portal. Upon opening Cropwise Protector Web, the user will select the organization and property that they wish to view.
After making that selection, they will be brought to the default landing page, the Timeline view.
The Timeline view of an organization's property will have many scouting data points on display and multiple ways of viewing them.
Color Coded Fields
First, the properties field boundaries, that contain scouting data, will have a color associated to them. This color indicates the status of the field based on the data that was scouted and if it exceeds a specific threshold to trigger the assigned color.
Green = Acceptance: meaning that all scouting data entries for that field have fallen beneath the control threshold set up in the scouting methodology.
Yellow = Control: Meaning that scouting data for this field has surpassed the control threshold set up in the scouting methodology. This could indicate occurrences in the field that would warrant action to be taken or for continued scouting efforts.
Red = Damage: Meaning that scouting data for this field has surpassed the damage threshold set up in the methodology and one or more areas in the field have been damaged by one or more occurrences in that field, being incests, weeds, or diseases.
Latest Activities
On the left side of the screen there is a column containing the latest scouting activity data. in this list, the user will see the fields that have been scouted, the latest date of scouting, the crop that is assigned to the field, as well as that fields severity level based on what was scouted.
Users can click on one of the latest scouting activities in the column to dive deeper into what was scouted and analyze the data. After clicking on a field's tile from the column, the user will see the detailed events of that latest scouting visit to that field. The user can then analyze the data from that scouting event by clicking on specific scouting points, dates, or scrolling through the scouting column.
Analyzing the Data
There are many ways that a user can analyze the scouting data on the timeline view.
Scrolling through the scouting column
A user can scroll through the scouting column, that is located on the left side of the screen, to view the scouting occurrences that were recorded. These occurrences include methodology based Scouting Points, Growth Stages, and Notes.
Notes will include any audio notes that can be played as well as photos that can be enlarged.
Specific Scouting Points in the Field
Users are also able to click on a specific dropped point in the field to view the scouting data attached to that specific point in the field.
From the timeline view, the user will need to click on the scouting point within the field visible on the map.
After clicking on a scouting point on the map, the details of that scouting point will appear in a pop up window. For this example, the purple note pin on the map was selected. The note details appeared in a pop up window where the note, the latitude and longitude (both real and simulated), time and date of scouting event, user who scouted, as well as any photo attachments were all visible. The photo attachments can be enlarged and sorted through, same as on the scouting column, for easier visibility.
Fields Scouting History
Also on the timeline view, users are able to toggle through the scouting history for the selected field. At the bottom of the screen, below the map, is a linear calendar where users can select a date and view the scouting events that took place on that field on that specific day.
Users can see what occurance types were scouted on a specific day based on the icons that are present on that day within the linear calendar.
