Cropwise Protector allows users to enable a NDVI Sentinel Imagery layer on the map for the mapped out field boundaries. This Imagery layer allows users to get a bird's eye view of the field's plant health with satellite images that are updated every 3-5 days. This Imagery layer can enable users to review the imagery data and focus their scouting efforts towards stressed areas of the field.
For a deeper explanation of the imagery types and how to interpret the data, click HERE to view Cropwise Imagery Help Center articles.
To enable the Imagery layer, navigate to the Layers on map section in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click on the Remote Sensing option to pull up the Imagery option.
Click on the Cropwise Imagery button under Remote Sensing.
On the right-side of the screen, a list of dates with available imagery will appear where the user can select a date. Users are also able to adjust the cloud coverage percentage to filter out images that may have too much cloud cover to produce a clear image.
After selecting a date, the NDVI sentinel imagery will load for the field boundaries.
