Tank Information can be incorporated into Work Orders and Applications to enhance the management and documentation of sprayer operations and other liquid-based activities across the farm. By including tank information, product quantities can be added using Rate per Tank for enhanced record tracking.
To enable Tank Information within a Work Order or Application, ensure that the toggle-switch is set to on.
The Tank Information is made up of four data points: Tank Size, Tank Count, Overall Rate per Acre, and Overall Total Product.
| Tank Size | Total capacity of the tank used on this record, in gallons. |
| Tank Count | Total number of tanks needed to complete this record. |
| Overall Rate per Acre | Combined rate of liquid products on this record, including Carrier, in gallons per acre. |
| Overall Total Product | Combined total quantity of liquid products on this record, including Carrier, in gallons. |
After enabling Tank Information and entering the applicable data points, Carrier information will be added to the record. Carrier values are calculated by subtracting the total of liquid products added to the record from the entered tank information.
Note: For the below examples, the Total Applied Acreage for the record is set to 500 acres.
Carrier uses Water as the product by default, but can be adjusted by selecting the Pencil icon, choosing a new product from the Product List, and clicking Select Product. Product information including Price per Unit can be added. Select Save Carrier to complete the change.
Additionally, the Carrier can be Hidden from the record if desired. This will also remove the Carrier from displaying on the record PDF and reports.
Adjusting the Tank Count on a record will impact the Overall Rate per Acre and Overall Total Product. Additionally, the Rate per Acre and Total Product of all liquid products will be changed.
Adjusting the Overall Rate per Acre on a record will impact the Tank Count and Overall Total Product. Additionally, the Rate per Tank for selected liquid products and all Carrier values will be adjusted.
Adjusting the Overall Total Product on a record will impact the Tank Count and Overall Rate per Acre. Additionally, the Rate per Tank for selected liquid products and all Carrier values will be changed.
