John Deere has a standard process for aggregating similar applications to reduce data in their system. The records must be for the same Organization, Client, Farm, Field, Crop, Types and Products. These settings can be adjusted to fit the operation for better record keeping and regulatory compliance.
For Example: Spraying the same field of watermellons up to 14 days apart with the same products. John Deere would aggregate this, showing one application dated May 22nd 7:35 AM - June 4th 9:18 AM, with double the amount of acres. This same information flows to Cropwise Financials, through an integration, providing incorrect REI, PHI, Weather, and Regulatory information.
The standard settings are as follows
- Tillage - 10 Days
- Seeding - 10 Days
- Application - 14 Days
- Harvest - 20-90 Days
To adjust the parameters for application aggregation, follow these steps to adjust the time frame for aggregation.
Log into the John Deere Operations Center and navigate to the Organizations tab in the upper right corner. Select the Gear Icon next to the Organization name to navigate to Organization Preferences.
In the Organization Preferences, select the Agronomic Preferences tab and scroll down to Work Record Settings.
Under Work Record Settings, adjust the Time Frame in Days for the desired records. Then select Save in the lower right. This will only impact future records.
