To start working in Cropwise Sustainability, create a new assessment. On the Home screen, select Create First Assessment (or + Assessment if there have been assessments created previously).
Begin by naming the assessment. Using the name of the farm and including details like a main management practice helps to quickly identify and organize assessments within Cropwise Sustainability.
Select whether you are working with a Sustainability Partner who requested this assessment, or if you are completing the assessment on your own, choose Syngenta Framework. For this example, the Syngenta Framework will be chosen.

Select the primary Crop for this assessment from the list, and then Confirm Crop.
Next, select the Crop Yield Unit used to measure the productivity of the selected crop, then enter the Total farm area and Crop specific area for this assessment. The area should be entered in as number of acres. Click Save Area to continue.
Select the Irrigation or Hired Workers options if they are used in the farming operation. Otherwise, leave these options blank. Finish by selecting Review and Finish.
Confirm the choices made in the previous steps are correct and complete. To edit any of the information, click the pencil icon next to that field. Finalize the assessment details by clicking Confirm and Finish. The assessment has now been created!
Once the assessment has been created, select Start assessment questions to be directed to where you can begin responding to the assessment questions.
