Farm and Field boundaries are valuable assets that often need to be used beyond Cropwise tools. Whether you're saving a copy of your Farm Field Tree, or using other agricultural software tools, Cropwise makes it easy to export your boundaries in industry-standard formats that work with most agricultural platforms and equipment.
To Export boundaries from Cropwise, first navigate to Cropwise Farm Settings (app.cropwise.com).
If you have access to more than one Cropwise Workspace or Organization, choose the appropriate Workspace and/or Organization in My Cropwise to show the desired Farm.
Once the Farms are displayed, click the Field icon on the desired Farm to proceed.
Note: Only one Farm can be exported at at time.
Select the Field(s) to export or Select All to export the entire Farm.
After selecting the desired field(s), click Download.
Within the Download geometries menu, select the desired date and boundary format. In most cases, select the current date and Shapefile format. Click Download to continue.
Enter a File Name and select Save.
The exported boundaries will save as a Zipped Folder on the computer and are now available to use outside of Cropwise.
To export boundaries from an additional farm, select the Farm menu and choose the desired Farm. Repeat the above process to export additional boundaries as desired.
