Assigning Crops and Crop Seasons to fields in Cropwise Imagery enables crop-based filtering in the Map View and unlocks additional features that require crop information.
Note: If the Cropwise Organization is also used in Cropwise Financials, the crops should be assigned within Cropwise Financials. Click here for help!
Assigning Crops and Crop Seasons in Cropwise Imagery
To begin assigning crops and crop seasons, log into Cropwise Imagery and select the desired organization.
Select the applicable Farm.
Click within the Seasons menu, and then select Manage my seasons.
A new window will open that displays all seasons tied to the selected farm. Click within the No current season drop-down to view the fields that are not currently tied to a crop or crop season. Next, choose the Fields that are going to be assigned to the first crop, and then select + Associate crop.
Search for and select the Crop, assign the Time range for the crop season, and enter the Crop Season name. Save the details to complete assigning the crop to the selected fields.
A new Crop Season will appear within the menu showing the associated fields.
Repeat this process for additional crops until all fields have been assigned to an active Crop Season. Once complete, close the current window and return to Cropwise Imagery.
Refresh the Map View screen in Cropwise Imagery and the new Crop Seasons will be displayed.
