Scouting Notes are a great way to mark areas of interest within a field and share these observations with others. A Scouting Note that is created in Cropwise Imagery Web is available within Cropwise Imagery Mobile, and likewise with those created within Cropwise Imagery Mobile. Additionally, Scouting Notes are viewable across Cropwise Imagery and Cropwise Protector if the organization has access to both Cropwise tools.
To create a new note, tap on the green Quick actions icon at the bottom of the screen, select Write a note, position the note pin, and tap Create note here.
Next, capture any scouting observations within the notes. Additionally, you can tag your note with any of the pre-defined tags, upload up to eight Images, and add an Audio File with additional observations. Once finished, tap Save in the upper-right corner.
Created notes can be found within the Notes menu.
Additionally, notes can be filtered by Time Range, Field, Tag, and Source (Cropwise Imagery or Cropwise Protector) by selecting the Filter icon.
Notes can be selected within the Map View to View, get Directions via Apple Maps, Share the note with someone, Edit, or Delete.
The Edit function allows a user to update an existing note's text, tags, images, or audio files and save those updates for future reference.
The Share option will allow you to share the note information, including field name, description, image links and location, via messaging apps such as iMessage, Gmail or Outlook.
