Once someone has been set up to receive automated sms scouting reports, they will begin receiving text messages containing links to the scouting reports. This text message is triggered by the syncing of scouting data on the Cropwise Protector Scouting app. The user will receive a sms report, at most, every 24 hours for the properties that have been scouted as long as the data on the scouting app has been synced.
To view the SMS scouting report, the user must first navigate to their text messages on their mobile device.
After opening their text messages, the user will see messages from Cropwise Protector that contain the links to the individual by-day scouting reports. To view a report, click on the link within the message.
After clicking on the link, a web page will open in your devices default browser. This page will generate the interactive web-based report where the recipient can scroll through the data and attachments on a per field basis. All data that was entered in the Cropwise Protector Scouting app such as, Growth Stage, Notes, and methodology scouting data will appear on this report, as well as any photos and audio notes.
This report link can be shared with anyone through text or email by copying and pasting the report link, or by selecting the share button on the bottom of the screen.
This report can also be saved as a PDF report by clicking the PDF option located in the top-right corner of the sms report.
The PDF report is able to be manipulated in such a way where the end user can choose what fields and what type of scouting data is included in the report by making selections on the filter. Once the filter selections have been made, click the green Download button to continue on to view the web-based PDF scouting report.
By saving the report as a PDF, a new web page will open, creating a new report link, that will include the PDF version of the scouting report.
Note: The PDF report will not include audio notes.
