The Time Series analysis provides a visualization of how the vegetation index data has changed over time within a field. Field health average and variability trends can be evaluated within a desired date range.
First, select Analytics within the left-side menu, select Time Series, set the Cloud Cover percentage, define the Date range, and then select which field to view the time series graphs for. Note: Images are now available back to January 1st, 2013.
Each data point on the time series graph can be hovered over to view additional details, including a preview of that date's image. Any images that illustrate a sharp decrease in the average value is typically due to cloud coverage, which can be hidden by adjusting the Cloud Cover filter.
The Time Series graphs can be downloaded as a CSV Report or a PDF Report to allow for record keeping and future analysis.
Additional image analysis and comparison can be conducted by using the Snapshot feature.
Set the Date range and Cloud Cover percentage to filter the images within the Snapshot and then select Confirm.
Within Snapshot, the Histogram and Time Series information is combined to allow for greater analysis of the selected images. Image dates can be adjusted simply by clicking and dragging an image marker to a different date.
Select the Settings icon to reconfigure the image Date Range and Cloud Coverage percentage to filter the images within the Snapshot. Select the Download icon to save the Snapshot.
